Where America went to space. Launch Complex 39A sent every Apollo mission to the moon and now launches SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets regularly. The Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) is one of the largest buildings in the world — visible from 50+ miles. The Kennedy Space Center sits within a wildlife refuge, and the contrast between rocket launch pads and undeveloped wetlands is striking from above. Check NOTAMs carefully — the area has frequent TFRs during launches.

The Vehicle Assembly Building is one of the largest single-story buildings on Earth — built in 1966 to assemble the Saturn V moon rocket, later used for Space Shuttle stacking, now used for Artemis SLS. The KSC Visitor Complex includes the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, a Saturn V suspended overhead, and bus tours that bring you within 1,000 feet of an active launch pad. The full Apollo Saturn V Center sits on the route. From KTIX or KMLB approach you can see the VAB and pads 39A/39B clearly.
