Lindbergh and the North Woods

Charles Lindbergh's boyhood home to the Canadian border

Little Falls is where Lindbergh grew up — the family farmhouse on the Mississippi is now a Minnesota State Park, with the original Lindbergh airplane hangar from the late 1920s still on the property. North from there into the lake country and on to International Falls and Voyageurs National Park, where 40% of the park is water and Northern Lights are visible 200 nights a year. The Canadian border is two miles from KINL's runway.
