Twin Cities Relievers

Five fields ringing Minneapolis-St. Paul, each a different chapter

The KMSP reliever network is one of the densest in the country. Flying Cloud (KFCM) was Cirrus's early-customer delivery field. Anoka County-Blaine is the busiest GA airport in the state. Holman Field downtown (KSTP) is named for Charles "Speed" Holman, the legendary Northwest Airways chief pilot killed at 33 in a 1931 air show. South St. Paul (KSGS) is Fleming Field, named for the Marine SBD pilot who got the Medal of Honor at Midway. Crystal (KMIC) is the north-metro reliever with Thunderbird Aviation training since 1962.
