The collegiate flight school that ran the busiest airport in America

Two stops in eastern North Dakota — Fargo's Class C, then Grand Forks International. John D. Odegard started UND's aerospace program in 1968 with two donated aircraft. In March 2021, KGFK led the entire nation in tower operations for several days running, ahead of Atlanta and Chicago.
